Mrs. Hegna was born July 11, 1902, in the Town of Maple Grove to Bert and Edith (Goolsby) Bryngelson. She married Alvin Hegna on June 19, 1920, at Chetek, and the couple moved to Barron in 1923, where she worked for her husband at Barron Plumbing and Heating until they retired. She sang in the choir, taught Sunday school, and was a member of the church Ladies Aid and circle.
She is survived by a son, Alvin of Prescott, Ariz.; two daughters, Edna Feidt of Almena, and Gladys Mohn of Eau Claire; a brother, Edward Bryngelson of Barron; a sister, Gertrude Isaacson of Tacoma, Wash.; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
