She grew up in Lowell & graduated from Lowell H.S. & attended college where she met & married Donald W. Meyer on Sep. 1, 1951 in Lowell. They lived & farmed in southern Decatur Co. & she was also employed by Hill-Rom Co. for 18 years.
They had 2 sons: Ralph & Kim Meyer and 2 daughters, Judy Witkemper & Susan Whitworth.
She later became afflicted with Alzheimers Disease & spent her last few years at the Odd Fellows Nursing Home in Greensburg.
She was a member of the St.Paul's Smyrna Lutheran Church, its Ladies Group & church choir & the Napoleon Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.
Calling was at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home & funeral at the Smyrna Lutheran Church with burial in its cemetery.
