Elizabeth was the daughter of Abraham Warford of Cameron Parish, Loudon County Virgina. She was the second wife of James Crooks. They had eight children: Abraham, Nancy, Job, Hannah, Rebecca, William, Mary T., and John Turley Crooks. Elizabeth died at the age of 82 and is buried in Farlow Grove Cemetery but there is no marker on her grave.
