Frank Anstine was born at Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, October 10, 1865, and departed this life on Wednesday, February 4, 1953, having reached the age of 87 years, 3 months and 24 days. Death followed a lingering illness.
As a small child he moved to Iowa with his parents, and at the age of 12 he came to Nebraska. With the exception of a few years spent in Oregon, his entire life was spent in or near Seward.
In September 1892 he was united in marriage to Winifred Morrow at Monmouth, Oregon. To this union three children were born: Vaughn of Bay City, Oregon; Mrs. Doris Fox, Morganton, N.C., and John of Seward.
He was a loving and devoted father.
In addition to his wife and three children there remain nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at Wood Bros. Chapel Saturday morning with Rev. F. C. Friederich in charge.
