Anna Johanna Dvoracek was born, on 23 July 1864, in the Czech Republic. When she was three years old, she came to America, with her parents. The Dvoracek family settled in New Prague, Scott County, Minnesota.

On 15 February 1880, Anna was united in marriage to Joseph F. Zetah. After their marriage, they settled in Olivia, Renville County, Minnesota. They lived in Olivia for 15 years; and, then, moved to Pierz, which is located in Morrison County, Minnesota. Six years later, they moved to Todd County, Minnesota, where they settled in Fawn Lake Township.

Anna Johanna made her home in Fawn Lake Township for the next 42 years of her life. She was a good mother, a kind and loving neighbor and friend, and was always willing to be of assistance whenever the necessity demanded. Anna was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church of Motley.

Anna Johanna Dvoracek Zetah, of Fawn Lake Township, died at the age of 80, on Thursday afternoon, 17 February 1944, in her farm home, near Motley, in Todd County, Minnesota.

At the time of her death, Anna was survived by eight of her twelve children. They were John F. of Moorhead; Mary Magdaline and husband, Peter Knosalla; and Katherine "Kate" and husband, Frank Charles Adamek, of Fargo, North Dakota; Joseph, Jr., Thomas John, and Wesley Sylvester of Motley; Albina Evelyn, and husband, Louis John Dvorak, of Lincoln; and Florence Emma and husband, Earl Creger, of Brainerd; 41 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Anna Johanna was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Zetah, Sr.; three daughters, Jennie, Josephine and Anna; an infant son; and two brothers, Wencel and Thomas Dvoracek, of New Prague, Minnesota.

Funeral services were held, from the Catholic Church in Motley, at ten o'clock, on Monday morning, 21 February 1944.

The Reverend Father Beno Retzek was in charge of the services, where a Requiem High Mass was sung. The choir and altar boys, Wayne Dvoracek and Francis Zetah assisted Father Retzek.

Last rites were conducted at the Motley Public Cemetery in Todd County, Minnesota. Pallbearers were John Tholl, Al Welle, George Thorn, Wallace Scruppie, William Thiede, and Alois Morganroth.
