Daily Democrat, Clinton MO - Richard E. Barmore, 77, Deepwater, died Thursday, September 28, 1995, at his home. He was born in New Castle, Calif., and lived in Independence most of his life before moving to Deepwater in recent years. Mr. Barmore was in area maintenance with Lake City Arsenal for 28 years, retiring in 1980. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. army Air Force. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 76 in Independence. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Lake City 25 Year Club. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His survivors include three sons, Roy E. Barmore and Daniel L. Dorse, both of Independence, and Larry W. Barmore, Lake Waukomis; two daughters, Lessie D. Bupp, Balitmore, Md., and Patricia J. Fick, Florida; two sisters, Wilda Sandy, Overland Park, Ks., and Margaret Goldsmith, Las Vegas, Nv.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday, October 2, at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial was in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
