Born in Egg Harbor City and a lifelong area resident, Stella was raised on, and worked at, the Hillcrest Dairy Farm, which was owned and operated by her parents John and Anna Schairer.
She moved to Galloway Township in 1946 with her husband Armand, where they spent the remainder of their years. She was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Church, was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting. Stella and Armand spent their years together traveling extensively across the United States in their RV camping, visiting family, and making many friends along the way.
Stella was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Armand; parents, Francis and Anna Schairer, and siblings Francis Schairer, Magdaline Braun, Dorothy Grillo, and Ernestine McCaughy.
She was survived by sisters Henrietta Bucci (Guy); Roberta Franchetti, and Margaret Walters, brother Louis Schairer (Judy); and brother-in-law Stanley Grillo and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial at St. Nicholas Church 525 St. Louis Avenue, Egg Harbor City with burial immediately following at Germania Cemetery in Galloway.
