Preston T. "Bud" Bowling, 82, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010.

A World War II Navy veteran, he served in the state department in Formosa and Korea. He retired from Union Electric after 39 years of service. Bud was a longtime member of Mizpah Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge #40 A.F. & A.M. of St. Louis, MO. He enjoyed playing the piano and being the organist for various churches in St. Louis. Bud was a caring friend of the Sherman and Winkler families of St. Louis, MO.

He was the son of the late Leon and Sarah Jane (Todd) Bowling.

Bud was the brother of Maurice Bowling and the late Russell Bowling, Helen Miller and Gladys Hohenhaus; seven nieces and nephews; 14 great-nieces and nephews; three great-great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation and funeral were held Friday, Feb. 5 at Buchholz Spanish Lake Chapel with Rev. Gerry Moore officiating.
