Mr. Robert Tracy "Robbie" Turner, 55, of Meat Camp Road, died Friday morning, March 28, 2003, at home.

He was born November 7, 1947 in Watauga County, to Tracy John and Mary Miller Turner.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Wilcox Turner, one daughter, one grandson, one granddaughter, four sisters, one half-brother, one half-sister, a special brother in law and sister-in-law, Blaine and Joyce, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tracy John Turner, one nephew, Tony Winebarger and his father-in-law, Lester Wilcox.

Services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends T.J. Jackson, Dana Miller and Mr. Carroll Snyder officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Valley Methodist Church Cemetery.

Austin & Barnes Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
