Zerilda G. "Billie" Daniels Banks, 84 of Springfield went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 9, 2001. She was born in Ironton, Ohio on May 17, 1926, the daughter of William M. and Stella Koster. Billie was a member of the Springfield Missionary Baptist Church and former member of the Moose Lodge#536. She sang with the family gospel group known as the "Gloryland Way" singers. In her spare time she volunteered with the Franklin Co Chapter of the American Red Cross and with the Red Cross at the Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base and was an avid BINGO player. Billie was a wonderful mother, who will be missed by her entire family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Ernest N. Daniels, Sr and Donnelly Banks; sons Ernest N. Daniels, Jr., William M. Daniels, David C. Daniels, and Jerry L. Daniels, Sr., and was the last of three brothers and five sisters. Her survivors include her daughter Barbara A. (James) Moore; sons Rodger D. (Patty) Daniels, Dennis J. Daniels, and Aaron A. Daniels all of Springfield; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call Friday from 5-8 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIALHOME. Services will be Saturday at 1:30 PM in the Springfield Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James E. Reed officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions are requested to the Springfield Missionary Baptist Church.
