Ella Rena (Whipple) Humphrey, 78, of Archibald Rutledge Apartments, Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.
Born in Newport, TN, she was the wife of the late Willie Clyde Humphrey and the daughter of the late John A. and Marie Ballard Whipple.
She was of the Baptist faith and a retired Nurses Aid, formerly employed with Camphaven Nursing Home of Inman.
She is survived by one daughter, Edith Nell H. Littlefield, of Cross Anchor; two grandsons, Johnny Littlefield, Jr. and Mark Littlefield.
Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 17, 2004, in the Inman Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Everett Foster.
