PEORIA - Rachel R. Korenchuk, 30, of Peoria, Ill., died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, from injuries sustained in a vehicle-motorcycle accident.

She was born May 27, 1981, in Peru, Ill. She is the daughter of James M. and Jacquelyn "Jacque" (Porch) Baker. She married Michael S. "Korey" Korenchuk on Feb. 11, 2008, in Costa Rica.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Jacque and Randy May of Peoria, Ill.; and two daughters, Bella and Jersie Korenchuk, at home. One sister, Angie Lugeanbeal of Pekin, Ill., also survives along with two nieces, Lauren and Julia Lugeanbeal of Pekin. Rachel has grandparents surviving, Mr. and Mrs. Mel (Rocky) Porch of Lacon, Ill. She also has several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rachel was a loving wife and mother, and a photographer owning her own business, Bella Imagery.

A celebration of life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home. The Rev. Gavin H. Finefield will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded, and inurnment services will be at a later date at the Belle Plains Cemetery in rural Toluca, Ill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a trust fund for her children's education at CEFCU.
