Daniel E. Puryear, 64, died August 5, 2011 in Houston TX. He was born in Noel, MO on July 24, 1947 to the late William B. and Ruth Mae (Edwards) Puryear. He was the loving husband of Vicky Puryear.
Daniel was employed as a shipping supervisor for Tyson Foods. He had a passion for photography, playing the banjo, mandolin, and guitar, fishing and restoring cars. Mr. Puryear also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a wonderful grandfather to all his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of Houston/Rogers, his 2 sons William "Bill" Puryear of Wyandotte, OK, Daniel "Bob" Puryear of Columbusm, KS.; 3 step-sons, Wayne Houchin of Las Vegas, NV, Alex Houchin and Jason Houchin both of Rogers; step-daughter Andrea Houchin of Columbus, OH and brother Darrell Brown Tulsa, OK. He has four grandchildren and 8 step-grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A funeral will be Saturday, August 13, 2011, 11:30 am in the Callison-Lough Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. Burial will follow at Butler Creek Cemetery, Sulphur Springs, AR. His visitation will be from 10 until 11:30 Saturday.
