THE LARNED CHRONOSCOPE
Larned, Kansas
Friday, November 18, 1881

DIED

LINN - At Larned, Kan., Thursday morning, November 17, 1881, of typhoid malarial fever, after an illness of about two weeks duration, Charles S. Linn, son of A. B. Linn of this city, in the 29th year of his age.

But a short time ago, Charley looked the picture of health, rugged and stout. He has been in New Mexico for over a year past, and was interested with Frank Caldwell and D. M. Mitchell in the noted $50,000 mine Silver Monument, in the Black Range. Yesterday letters came here relative to the sale of his interest. The funeral services will be held at the M. E. church this (Friday) morning, at ten o'clock.

Charley was an excellent young man and was loved and respected by all who knew him. His death has cast a gloom over the community, and together with the friends of the family we extend our heartfelt sympathy in the loss they have sustained.
