VIDOR - The funeral for Claude Block. 94, of Vidor will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Faith Tabernacle in Vidor. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
He died Thursday at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Orange, he had lived in Vidor since 1938 and was a retired self-employed painter.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Thompson Block of Vidor; a son Gerald Wayne Block of Vidor; a daughter, Melba Jane Courmier of Vidor; eight grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
