WHITE PIGEON - Henry L. "Hank" Moorehouse, 77, died July 2, 2011, in Beijing, China. Survivors include his wife, Jaculan Moorehouse; a daughter, Kim Moorehouse; and 6 sons, David Moorehouse, Buddy Moorehouse, Michael Nicholson, Peter Nicholson, Timothy Nicholson and Steven Nicholson. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, White Pigeon, Saturday at 11 am. A private burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery, Colon, MI. Farrand Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

In 1968 Harry went into the magic business full time when he opened Top Hat Treasures, a magic shop in Ypsilanti, MI. From 1981 to 1986 he worked for Abbott's Magic Company in Colon, MI. Henry was a magic dealer, lecturer and full time performer.
Henry died in Beijing, China. He was producing a close-up magic tour, hiring performers and was there for about a week. On July 4th, he was to fly back to the U.S. to attend the National SAM Convention where he was to be honored. After one of the shows he was backstage talking to one of the acts when he collapsed.
