This is what I have from a booklet "Search for My Self" by Barbara Elaine Clark, a distant cousin of mine.
Elvira Orintha D. Busey (1815-1879) m. 183? Elliot Franklin Miller b. 1817?

"Aunt Eva told me the following: E. F. Miller disappeared once for seven years. He just got up from the breakfast table and left. As I recall, Aunt Eva thought he didn't finish eating----just up and left.
Seven years later, he came in and sat down to breakfast. According to the story, he never said why he left or where he'd been and apparently Elvira never asked! Hmmmm. I'd've had to ask ! Aunt Jessie, E. F.'s granddaughter lived in Memphis for many years. She knew two brothers and their sister there who she thought looked just like three of E. F.'s children--Babe and two of the others.
