A message to J. F. Pithoud Friday of last week, from Mrs. Pithoud contained the sad information that her father, Stanton Pierson[sic] had passed away that day at the home of his daughter at Broken Bow Oklahoma. Funeral services and burial were had at the old home of the family at Tonganoxie, Kansas. Mr. Pierson[sic] was a victim of apoplexy. Mrs. Pithoud had been with her father since the latter part of November.
