Edith Gallimore Quesenberry, 84, passed away Monday, January 21, 2002 in Skyline Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Villie Quesenberry; parents Cordell and Stella Gallimore; brother, Vinton Gallimore.
She is survived by: one son and daughter-in-law, Hebron and Doris Quesenberry, Floyd; two daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Jimmy Mannon, Diane and Wayne Mannon, both of Floyd; six grandchildren, Judy and Mark Proctor, Wanda and Wayne Gardner, Melissa (Lisa) and Scott Thompson, all of Floyd, Tammy and Jeff Williams, Richmond, Denise Mannon, Greensboro, Tina and Terry Osborne, Floyd; nine great grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters-in-law, L.A. and Cornelia Gallimore, Charles and Oneida Gallimore, Roger and Erma Jean Gallimore, Irene Gallimore; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Roxie Boyd, Arnie Simpkins, Dovie Quesenberry, Isabel and Lewis Shelor.
Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2002 at Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren with the Reverend Richard Thomas and Reverend Hebron Quesenberry officiating. Interment followed in Beaver Creek Church Cemetery.
