Funeral services for Archibald "Archie" Boag, of Evergreen township, were held at his home Thursday, December 19. Rev. Cole, of Shabbona M.E. church, officiated. Burial was made in the Argyle cemetery.
Archie Boag was born September 21, 1859, in Scotland. While living there he married Mary Hutson, who preceded him in death 38 years ago. In 1885 he came to this country to live. He was married to Mary Barber of Evergreen township in 1926.
Besides his widow he is survived by five daughters, Mrs Ernest(Mary) McAllister of Highland Park, MI., Mrs. Frank (Florence) Kramp of Cleveland, OH., Mrs. George (Grace) Jickling, of Marlette, MI., Mrs. Ben (Ellen) Peters of Argyle, MI., and Mrs. James (Christina) Sauder of Argyle, MI.; also a son, Avon Boag, of Argyle. Mrs. Alex (Jean) Lindsay, a daughter, preceded him in death five years ago.
