Milton E. Abbey, 46, of Quincy, Ill., died at 1:45 a.m. April 7, 1998, at his home.
Funeral services for Mr. Abbey will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park.
Mr. Abbey was born Jan. 28, 1952, in Huntington to Everett W. Abbey and Mattie Pearl Scott Abbey.
Survivors include his mother of Quincy; two sons, Shawn Clay of Quincy and Wesley Clay of LaBelle; five brothers, William Abbey, Richard Abbey and Mark Abbey, all of Quincy, Sam Abbey and Thomas Abbey, both of Peoria, Ill.; seven sisters, Rose Martin and Charlene Treadwell, both of Springfield, Ill., Barbara Stemmon, Viola Raymond, Sylvia Abbey and Tonya Abbey, all of Quincy and Diane Abbey of Peoria; and two grandchildren, Jordan Clay and Lamar Clay.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Abbey; and one brother, Frank Abbey.
Mr. Abbey formerly worked at Phillip Ross Company in LaBelle and Quincy Recycle Company. He enjoyed fishing.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Quincy Hospice.
