Admitted 3/7/1862 into Chimborazo Hospital #5, Richmond, for rheumatism; returned to duty 5/8/1862.
Detailed 5/16/1862 at Winder Hospital, Richmond, as a nurse.
Died of typhoid fever at Winder Hospital.
His widow, J.A. Abbott, filed a Settlement Claim on 9/15/1862; she was paid $78.30.
