Mrs. Earl W. Main
Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Gilkey Main, aged 31, wife of Earl W. Main, New Galilee, passed away in the Jameson Memorial Hospital this morning at 4:43 o'clock. Death was caused by complications following rheumatic fever.
Mrs. Main was born in New Galilee on April 6, 1910, daughter of Frank E. and the late Elizabeth Malone Gilkey. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of New Galilee.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Jean Yvonne; her father, Frank E. Gilkey of New Galilee; four brothers, J. Knox of North Beaver Township, F. Lyle of New Galilee, Gale W. of Enon Valley and Wendell Wayne Gilkey, at home.
The body has been removed to the Mahoning Funeral Home, West Madison Avenue, and will be taken to the home of her father in New Galilee this evening. Funeral services will be held from the Gilkey home Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Rocky Spring Cemetery.
