Alice Amelia was born October 23, 1867 in Lynxville, WI. She was the daughter of Ann and George Brashier.
Alice married Thomas McCartney on December 30, 1884 and to this union ten children were born, six of whom preceded her in death. Her husband, Thomas, died June 28, 1906.
On November 2, 1915, she married L. P. Frye, who passed away September 4, 1939.
Alice is survived by two daughters, Edith (John) Hackett of Ferryville and Nellie (James) Watson of Lynxville and two sons Fred and Leslie of Circle, Montana. Nine grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren also survive.
