1955 Jul 21: Mrs. A. C. Crowell and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Crowell of Morgan attended the wedding of J. D. Stevens and Miss Janice Parkman at Omak, Washington, Saturday July 9. Mr. Stevens is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Crowell. The newlyweds are students at Washington State College. (Heppner Gazette)

"Robbie Janice Stevens, 55, of Fairfax County, a pharmacist, died of a heart attack at her residence on Nov. 14. Mrs. Stevens was born in New Edenburg, Ark. on July 19, 1937. She received a pharmacy degree from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1960. Mrs. Stevens has lived in Fairfax since 1974. For the past eight years, she has volunteered as a senior plant consultant for the Fairfax County Extension Service. Mrs. Stevens worked at a pharmacy in Alexandria under several owners for 15 years. The pharmacy was last known as Rite Aid. Mrs. Stevens is survived by her husband, Retired Army Col. Jack D. Stevens of Fairfax; three children, Dawn Comish of Amherst, Mass., Jeffrey Stevens of Pullman, Wash., Jason Stevens of San Diego; her mother, Nora Jane Parkman; a brother, Guy Parkman, both of Pullman-Albion, Wash.; and two grandsons. A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Dec. 28 at Fort Myer Old Post Chapel following by internment at the Columbarium at Arlington National Cemetery" (Wenatchee World)(Fairfax Times)
