I believe I may have found your Lester Adams' signature in an autograph book kept by a gentleman who served with him in WWII in Australia. They were with the 43rd Service Squadron in 1942-44. The autograph reads, "We met approximately May 0, 1942 in a northern army camp at Adelaide River. We became good friends thru basketball mostly. Bot of course the few times we were out together while the 43rd Service Sqdn was in civilization (Ipswich) will always be remembered. 4-5-44."
I believe he was the son of Ira and Maude Adams whose memorials you also have, as Ira's address was listed with Lester. I didn't want to connect them until I had proof though.
