Rites Tuesday For Curtisville Man
Charles H. Retherford, 87, Curtisville,
died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday
in Tipton County Hospital where
he had been a patient for two
weeks. Services will he held at 2
p.m. Tuesday from the Pritchard
Funeral Home in Windfall, with
Rev. Lowell Bain officiating and
burial will be in the family Mausoleum
in Brookside Cemetery,
Windfall. Friends may call anytime
at the funeral home.
A retired farmer and member of
the Windfall Baptist Church, the
deceased was born June 25, 1876,
son of John and Sarah (Marsh)
Retherford. He was married in
1901 to Cora Stack who preceded
him in death in 1954.
Survivors include four sons, Carl
of Windfall, Clyde of Muncie, George
of Chicago, and Don of Anderson,
two daughters, Mrs. Bernice
Graf of Tipton and Mrs. Mary
Lewellen of Elwood; a brother,
Cleve Retherford of Alexandria; 13
grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
