David H. Crockett, age 76, of West Monroe, retired from the United States Army Reserves, U.S. Postal Service and Missouri Pacific Railroad, died Monday. Services are 10 a.m. today at Forest Glade Baptist Church. Visitation is 9 a.m. today until services begin at the church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Monroe, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mr. Crockett passed away on Monday July 18, 2005 in Monroe, LA. He was retired from the Missouri Pacific Railroad, United States Postal Service and the United States Army Reserve. He was a member and deacon of Forest Glade Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Vickers Crockett of West Monroe, LA, three sons, David Crockett, Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Kingston, TN, Derek Crockett and his wife Twila of Calhoun, LA, Dwight Crockett and his wife Michele of Durham, NC, one daughter, Diane Edwards of Taylor, AR, six grandchildren, Joshua and Summer Crockett, Caleb and Jason David Crockett, Savana and Ashlyn Edwards; and one brother, Charles C. Crockett and wife Willie Lois of Monroe, LA.
