LouElla J Brege, 84 years, 2 months, 20 days, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011, at her home. The daughter of Russel and Virginia (Bonnin) Lamb was born May 3, 1927, in Rogers City. She was a lifelong resident graduating from Rogers City High School in 1946.
She and Richard Brege were united in marriage on September 4, 1948, at Immanuel Ev Lutheran Church in Moltke. LouElla was known as Grandma Lou to the many Montessori children passing her home. She loved her grandchildren, baking and flower gardening.
She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Presbyterian Women and TOPS
LouElla is survived by:
...two son,
......Owen and Fortune, and
......Neil and Yvonne, all of Rogers City;
...four grandchildren,
...a great-grandchild, Padraig;
...a brother, Owen and Marion Lamb of Rogers City; and
...several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Richard on December 16, 1982.
Friends called at the Brietzke Funeral Home Sunday, July 24,
Visitation resumed Monday, July 25th, at Westminster Presbyterian Church until the time of the funeral service with the Rev Scott Hill officiating.
Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
