Don Hanks

Services for Don Kenneth Hanks of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Ford Memorial Chapel of First Baptist Church with Rev. John Ballard officiating.
Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
Hanks died Thursday, June 29, 1995, in Methodist Hospital.
He was born in Oklahoma City. He graduated from Brown Military Academy in San Diego, Calif., and Oklahoma University. He served in the Merchant Marines, and married Bobbie Carol Hutchinson on Oct. 16, 1982, in Lubbock. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He worked for All-State Insurance Co. as a district manager. He then worked for GAB as a regional account executive until 1978, when he opened Hanks Claims Service.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Ken Jr. of Fort Collins, Colo.; his mother, Ann of Lubbock; and three grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Phill Goolsby, Fred Plankenhorn, Ken Hurley, Joe Paschal, Bill Sparks and Charles Kelly.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today.
