Delmer C. Beals, 89 formerly of Mariasville, Emlenton RD, died Sunday, Nov.
12, 2000, in Austin Woods Health Care Center in Austintown, Ohio, following a lengthy illness.
Born April 21, 1911, in Mariasville, he was a son of Fred and Mayme Levy Beals
He was a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Beals had worked in construction in New Castle in his earlier years.
Surviving are a daughter, Doris Wilson of Austintown, Ohio, three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Beals was preceded in death by a brother, Ellis Beals; and a sister, Lucille Jackson.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Knox.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Jack, pastor of the Knox United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Zion Union Cemetery at Emlenton RD.
