She was born January 7, 1915 in Grand County, Colo. to Wynn O. and Clara A. (Yust) Howe, and died August 6 in Louisville, Colo.
Her parents ranched at Troublesome, Colo. untill their retirement in 1948. Her maternal grandparents Edward C. and Mary E.(Mann) Yust homesteaded the MY Ranch near Kremmling. Her Aunt and Uncle Frank and Lutie (Howe) Black ranched on Corral Creek near Parshall.
She Graduated from East High School in Denver and Colorado State University. She earned M.Ed and Ed.D. degrees at the University of Nebraska.
On April 12 1935 she Married Fred B. Hamilton born June 30, 1913, in Hillrose, Colo. He died September 24, 1954.
