Born Oct. 17, 1914 in Frenchtown, a daughter of Frederick and Marguerite (Eichlin) Sipes, Reta was a lifelong borough resident. She graduated from Frenchtown High School. She was a homemaker and had worked at NJ Motor Vehicle office in Frenchtown at one time.
She was a member of the Frenchtown United Methodist Church and a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Frenchtown. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
Reta's beloved husband, Lester F. Dalrymple, died in 1994. She was also predeceased by two sons, Thomas and David; three sisters, Ethel Redfield, Nelda Bedman and Gloria Palaveda; and her son-in-law, Richard Lugg.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara D. Lugg of Kingwood Township; her son, Frederick T. Dalrymple and his wife Florine of Lambertville; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services: Funeral services private, with interment in Frenchtown Cemetery . Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Holland Township.
