Mrs. Hannah Lewis
POINT PLEASANT - Mrs. Hannah Lewis, 88, Henderson, died Saturday evening at her home. She was a member of Pine Grove Methodist Church. Mrs. Lewis was the widow of Jesse Lewis.
Mrs. Lewis was born at Southside, the daughter of the late Robert and Fidelia Garten Downs.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Lewis at home and Simpson Lewis of Kanauga. Four daughters, Mrs. Vada King, Mrs. Daisy Leport, Mrs. Sylvia Leport, of Henderson, and Mrs. Julia Bradham of Hollywood, Fla.; one brother, George Downs of Albany; 16 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Mohr-Stevens Funeral Home, the Rev. Normal Nash officiating. Burial will follow in the Suncrest Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Monday.
