"George Mitchell of Southold. 27 Apr 1835. Adm Widow Nancy A Bond. Bond: John
and Elam Conklin. Wit: George MItchell, Jr. Children: George, Robert, Margarett,
and J- - - - ?. J- - - ? and Robert are minors. File 2712. P 121."

Note that in the 1831 will of Thomas Conkling, he mentioned "single" daughter
Nancy and son Elam Conklin. In an 1834 item in Liber F of the will book,
additional heirs were named, including John Conklin and "Nancy Mitchell".

It is probable that this George Mitchell, with a wife named Nancy A and bond
established by John & Elam Conklin, is the husband of Thomas Conkling's
daughter. She could only be mother of children born after 1831, when she was
described as single; which means she may be (and may not be) the mother of the
children indicated as minors: Robert & J- - - ?.
