THE LAMPASAS LEADER
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26, 1906

J.P. Anderson died at the home of his grand-daughter, Mrs. Steve Williamson, in Coryell county, Friday night. He had made Lampasas his home for many years, and was probably known by all the women and little children in the place, from the fact that he made it a duty to chop wood for many of the best families of Lampasas. He was loved and respected by all, and if there are any honest, upright people, J.P Anderson was one of them. He leaves a wife and two grand-daughters, Mrs. Steve Williamson and Mrs. A.R. Mace, besides as many friends as falls to the lot of an average man to mourn his loss. The bereaved have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in the death of this good man.
