Harold Logan Anderson was born in Fargo, North Dakota. He and his mother lived for a time in Adams Co., North Dakota, and later in Perkins Co., South Dakota.
Harold's mother, Ida, passed away when he was about 10 years old. His aunt Edith (Hopper) Hewitt took over the care and raising of him.
He enlisted in the army during WWII, and died from wounds received in a non-battle accident in Europe on June 12, 1945, shortly before he was to return home to the United States.
