Morris Patrick Kidd, 53, passed away on August 2, 2011. He was born on April 12, 1958, in Tyler, Texas.

He graduated from A. N. McCallum High School in 1976 and was a member of the golf team. Morris graduated from the University of Texas in 1980 with a BS in business education with honors. He was employed for twenty years as an assistant manager at Rooster Andrews Sporting Goods Store.

Morris is survived by his mother, Elise P. Kidd and his sister, Madelyn A. Kidd. He was preceded in death by his father, Pat Henry Kidd, Jr.

Morris loved all things Austin and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the city with others. He was proud to Keep Austin Weird. Morris was a faithful blood donor and wished that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Austin Blood Bank (www.bloodandtissue.org) or the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) in his memory.
