Elizabeth "Betty" Schilling Gross Lah, 89, died at 4:20 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2011, Fowler, Indiana. She was born July 21, 1922 in Lafayette, Indiana, to the late William and Edith Matthews Schilling.
She married Wilfred H. Gross on July 16, 1942. He died Feb. 6, 1975.
She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Cletus and Clifford Schilling, and 3 sisters, Camilla Schilling, Cele Tabert and Clara Chaney.
She married Kenneth R. Lah on September 18, 1982. He survives.
She is also survived by two daughters, Carol Herriford (husband: Jim and Nancy Wittenauer (husband: Steve), two sons, Wilfred "Anthony" Gross (wife: Kathy) and Gary Gross (wife: Susan), 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
