Yvonne June Heaton, 60, formerly of American Falls, died Monday, October 8, 1984 at Walla Walla General Hospital following and illness.

She was born September 1, 1924, in American Falls to Clark and Clara Noel Wagstaff. She was reared and educated in American Falls.

She received her nurses training in Pocatello.

On March 12, 1943, she married Frank Richard Heaton in American Falls. The couple made there home in Oklahoma while he was stationed there with the Navy. In 1945, they returned to American Falls.

They moved to Lake Oswego, Oregon, in 1960, and in 1980 moved to Milton Freewater, Oregon.

When her sons were young she was active in Cub Scouts. Some of her interest include gardening and outdoor activities.

She is survived by her husband, Dick, Milton Freewater; one son , Pat Heaton, Lake Oswego; two brothers, Sonny Wagstaff, American Falls; Jim Wagstaff, Powa, California; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was proceeded in death by three son, Scott, John and Mike.

She was buried in Falls View Cemetery.
