Amelie de B 'Amie' ZELL b: 28 Oct 1914 Manilla, Philippines d: 10 Jul 1996 Denver, Denver, Colorado d/o Lt. Edward M. ZELL (1880-1916) & Priscilla M. Williams (1884-1969), m1: 1938 Sidney O. REYNOLDS b: 31 December 1906 near Cora, Sublette, Wyoming d: 12 October 1965 Providence, Rhode Island s/o John C. Reynolds (1872-1947) & Abigail Shults (1881-1921), m2: Jackson Hole, Wyoming Sept. 1967 Gerald M. RICHMOND Jr (1914-2001). Amie is buried in the Pinedale Cemetary with her first husband Sid. Amie's father was at West Point Military Academy graduated class of 1903. He was list as a Soldier on the 1910 census, & was stationed in the Philippines when Amie was born. By 1920 her mother is widow with her two daughters living in Balimore, Maryland next to her Grandparents Judge Thomas J. C. Williams & Cora M. Maddox. In 1930 Amie and her sister Anne where living in Providence, RI with their mother Priscilla, stepfather John Campbell Keighler & her half sister. Since Amie was a member of the Colonial Dames which means her ancestors had to have been in America before 1701. *No Issue. sister of Anne C. Langdon. *Auntie of my sister-in-law MA.

History: Amie was a true class person. When she was in Wyoming she was always dressed up in her levis, cowboy hat, high heeled cowboy boots, leather gloves, & western shirt. She was the most lovely person with her real East coast accent. She and her husband Sid ran the Z bar U Ranch which is just North of Cora, Sublette County, WYO. It was a neat dude ranch. One Fall Amie took the Camp fire girls on a Horse backpack trip into the mountains. it's one memory that I shall never forget, with the horse trails and all the pack horse loaded down with our gear. We had a fantastic time with chuck wagon stew, and lots of singing by the camp fire at night, and sleep under the stars. The mountains and lakes back in the bridger Wildness was just amazing. We Finally saw what the dudes who came to Wyoming saw every year. Amie and Sid did this wonderful thing for all of us Girls just because they where good people and they never made a single dime off of this fantastic trip they shared their life love, horses, camp equipment and time for all of us Pinedale girls to take a look out the outback country of our Wyoming Mountains. They had the best rodeo's at the Z-U. It was the hi-lite of everyone rodeo season. After they sold the ranch they started a small town newspaper called the Smoke Signals. Sid and Amie spent their winters in Providence, Rhode Island trying to line up the Dudes for the coming summer season, After Sids health failed they went back to Providence for good but that Summers they came back and ran the Pinedale Tourist office. A couple of her favorite words where Gorgeous and delightful but you have to say it with her east coast accent to get the right conjector.
