Norman W. Bliss, age 71, of 8621 Harborview Rd, Blaine, passed away Thurs Feb 5. Mr. Bliss had been a lifetime resident of Whatcom County and is survived by his wife Pearl; one son, James of Ferndale; 2 daughters Barbara Bourne of Bellingham, Betty Jefferson of Ferndale; 5 step-daughters, Betty Honrud of Bellingham, Shirley Larson of Seattle, Charlotte Rouse of Milo, Oregon, Joanne Graves and Claudia Unruh, both of Ferndale; 1 brother, Harold of Casa Grande, Ariz; 1 sister, Mildred Walker of Sooke, BC; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; numerous other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted in Moles Funeral Home Mon, Feb 9 at 2:30 pm by Rev. Wayne Bell. Burial will follow in Enterprise Cemetery.
