Miss Alice Bowen, Long Ill, Is Dead; Rites Tomorrow
Miss Alice Bowen, of 318 James Street, sister of the late Ralph Bowen, former commissioner of public safety, died yesterday at her home, following a long illness.
Miss Bowen was born in Syracuse and had resided in this city all her life. She was active for many years in social affairs and charitable circles of the city.
Surviving are two nephews, Albert E. and Ray C. Noble, both of Solvay; and a niece, Mrs. Liola Zeese of Long Beach, Calif.
The funeral will take place from the undertaking rooms of C. C. Carroll & Company tomorrow afternoon. Prayer services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock at the grave in Oakwood Cemetery, where burial will take place.
