A resident of the town of Eau Pleine, Mrs. Frank Wojtalewicz, 61 died this morning at 5:20 at St. Michael's hospital. Operated on in December, Mrs. Wojtalewicz returned home and then re-entered the hospital a week ago Saturday.
Born in the town of Hull Feb. 1, 1894, she was the former Eleanor Kawleski, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kawleski. She attended St. Casimir's parochial school in Hull as a girl.
On Feb. 16, 1914, she was married to Mr. Wojtlawewicz and since then the couple had farmed in Eau Pleine.
Mrs. Wojtalewicz was a member of the Rosary society of St. Michael's Catholic church, Junction City.
She is survived by her husband; five sons, Ben, Dancy, Route 1; Leo, at home; Peter, 246 South River drive; Valerian, Stevens Point, Route 2; and Luke, 320 Stanley street; a daughter, Mrs. Anton Kawski, Stevens Point, Route 2; eight brothers, Stanley, Frank, Matt and Alois Kawleski, Dancy; Anton, Stevens Point, Route 3; John, 236 South River drive; Ben, 603 Briggs street; and Peter, 250 South River drive; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Stepaniak, 719 Fourth avenue and Mrs. Henry Allworden, Wisconsin Rapids, and 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four children who died in infancy, two sisters, one brother and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at St. Michael's church, Junction City. at 10 a. m. Thursday, and burial will take place in the parish cemetery in the spring. Friends may call at the Dzikoski funeral home after 4 p. m. Tuesday. A general rosary will be said at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 8 and the rosary society of St. Michael's church will recite the rosary Wednesday at 8 p.m.
