MRS. YANTIS DIES IN HOSPITAL

Mrs. Oda O. Yantis, 77, 1908 South Riley Highway, died Tuesday at 4:55 p.m. at Major Hospital where she had been a patient since March 25. She had been in failing health since December.
Mrs. Yantis was a member of the Lewis Creek Baptist Church and the Shara-Lyke Club.
Born in Howard County, Indiana May 3, 1893, Mrs. Yantis was the daughter of George E. and Laura (Fultz) Buckler. On November 17, 1914, she was married to Glen Yantis, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Mrs. Carl (Letha) Hester, R.R.1 Manilla and Kemmeth Dale Yantis, R.R.1, Waldron; eight grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters, Loren Buckler, Mereno, Colorado, Floyd Buckler, Flat Rock, Denzil Buckler, R.R.7, Columbus, Mrs. Oliver (Opal) Robinson, Warsaw, Mrs. James (Cecile) Harker, R.R.5 Shelbyville and Mrs. Oral (Glendola) Howe, Waldron. A sister and grandson preceded ind eath.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Ewing Mortuary, with the Rev. Everett Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
