SALEM-Irene Goodman, 86, of 610 West State, Salem, died at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the Salem Community Hospital.
She was born August 16, 1923 in Greenford, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Hattie (Dressel) Crumbacher.
Mrs. Goodman had attended Greenford Schools and enjoyed gardening.
Her husband, Harvey E. Goodman, whom she married Aug. 6, 1960, preceded her in death April 30, 1995. Three brothers, Howard, Bob and Paul Crumbacher and three sisters, Dorothy Moser, Pauline Everson and Willetta Sharisky also preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, John (Joann) Sanor of Salem, Jim (Jackie) Sanor of Salem and William (Georgia) Sanor of Del City, Oklahoma; two daughters, Gladys (Larry) Landsberger and Nancy (James) Lewis all of Salem; a stepson, Larry (Denise) Goodman of Lisbon; a sister, Ruth McCoy of Salem; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Claye Folger officiating.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
