Mrs. Ida Leatherman, 80, widow of the late Richard Alexander Leatherman, died at her home near Burlington Thursday morning. She was born at Williamsport, Grant County. Her parents were the late Thomas and Rebecca Harris Rotruck. Most of her life was spend on the Leatherman farm on Patterson Creek, Between Burlington and Headsville. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren. She is survived by four sons and two daughters, Minor E. Leatherman, Antioch; Joseph Leatherman, Burlington, Mrs. Iva M. Likins, Antioch; Mrs. Lilly Liking, Burlington, Thomas Leatherman, Burlington, Arley Leatherman, Mt. Airy, Md. Other survivors are three brothers and four sisters, Noah Rotruck, Elizabeth Rotruck, Burlington; Mrs. Rebecca Harris and Mrs. Lulu Leatherman, Antioch. There are 20 grand children and 7 great grand children. Funeral services will be held in the Knobley Church at 2p.m., Saturday. Interment will be in the Knobley Cemetery. The Pall Bearers were Charles, William and Odell Leatherman, Otto and Vance Harris, and Carl Rotruck.
