Almena L. Flahiff, 95, formerly of 1024 Garrison St., died Saturday morning at Bethesda Care Center.
She was born in Sandusky County's Jackson Township to the now deceased Lewis and Catheryn (Andres) Gabel. She married Louis Flahiff on Sept. 10, 1929, in Fremont, and he preceded her in 1973.
Mrs. Flahiff was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella.
Surviving are daughter Mrs. Jim (Joanne) Omen of Fremont; sons Louis (Jane) Flahiff Jr. and Steve (Evy) Falhiff, both of Fremont, and Dennis (Barb) Flahiff of Gibsonburg; nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded by daughter Marilyn, a great-granddaughter, sister Ada Landig and brothers Clement, Lawrence, Berthart, Stanley, Theodore and Leonard Gabel.

Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. David R. Bruning officiating.

Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
