Helen Lawyer Ball 83, Danville, died May 12, 2008. She was born Dec. 13, 1924 to Branson and Adaline (Beaty) Lawyer. Mrs. Ball had been a private kindergarten teacher as well as a homemaker. She was a member of and active in, the Danville Christian Church. She was also involved in the Hendricks Co. Homemakers. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thurs. May 15 in Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home, Danville, with visitation there from 4 to 8 p.m. Wed. May 14. Burial will be in K of P Cemetery, Lizton, IN. Survivors include a son, Glenn (Diana) Ball, Danville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brother, Rev. Guy Lawyer, Springfield, MO and a sister, Elma Piper, Humansville, MO. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; son, Greg; two brothers and four sisters.
