George T. Bennett Passes Away
The death of George T. Bennett occurred at his home in this city Saturday morning after an illness of several months with a complication of diseases.
George Thomas Bennett was born in Ontario, Canada, on April 16, 1859. He came to Montana from North Dakota in 1913, settling on a homestead in the Goosebill country, where he resided until nearly a year ago when moved to a home on the Teton, moving to Fort Benton last November.
He leaves to mourn his death his wife and daughter, Mrs. Ben Bear, of Great Falls.
The funeral was held from the Louther undertaking parlors on Sunday afternoon, being conducted by the Rev. Roy Wilson. Members of the I. O. O. F. lodge acted as pallbearers.
The large attendance at the funeral services showed the high esteem in which he was held by those who knew him. The body was laid to rest in Riverside cemetery.
